Contact

Use this form to contact the publisher or report a correction to a venue or planning page. For a factual correction, include the page address, the statement needing correction and a public source showing the replacement information. Contact a venue directly for booking, availability or a private event proposal.

Corrections and removal requests

A named venue may request a correction or removal without a charge. Identify the room, season and terms concerned so a change is applied to the right statement.

Avoid sending payment details, guest lists or private contracts. The privacy policy explains contact-message handling.

A correction report is welcome. If something on this site is wrong we would rather know. That applies most of all to venues: if you run one of the venues listed here and we have recorded something inaccurately, or your website has changed since the date shown on your page, tell us and we will re-read the page and update the record.

It also applies to the statewide facts. Fees and tax rates change, and a page that was right in September will not stay right forever. Use the contact form, choose "Correction report" as the topic, and if you can, name the page and quote the sentence you are reporting.

Telling us is the fastest route to a fix.

What happens to a report

Every correction is checked against the same rule the original fact had to pass: we go back to the primary source, your website, or the state publication, and read it again. If it disagrees with what we published, we change what we published and we change the date shown on the page.

How quickly

A venue is shown as booking weddings when it is not, or vice versa; Send the current booking notice and page address so the status and source can be reviewed; no fixed response time is promised.

A price, fee, minimum, capacity or legal requirement is wrong; Include the exact disputed statement, effective date and supporting source so the correction can be checked; no fixed response time is promised.

A rule, season, end time or accessibility statement is wrong; Include the exact disputed statement, effective date and supporting source so the correction can be checked; no fixed response time is promised.

A spelling, a name, a link or a formatting problem; Send the page address, affected word or link and proposed correction so the problem can be located; no fixed response time is promised.

What makes a report easy to act on

The address of the page, so the record can be found at once.

The exact wording that is wrong, and what you believe it should say.

The source that shows the right answer: the venue's own page, a state publication or a statute.

Your connection to the page, whether you run the venue, work for a vendor or are a couple planning a wedding, because a venue's own correction and a guest's second-hand report are checked the same way but arrive with different evidence.

What does not change on request

A record quotes the venue's own website. The record changes when the website changes. A change of preference does not alter it. Where official sources disagree, identify their dates and use the current controlling guidance; the marriage license page links the current $80 rule rather than presenting an old $60 amount as payable. No venue can buy a change to a record.

Nothing here is ranked, so a correction never moves a venue up or down a list.

How a correction shows on the page

When a record changes, the date beside it changes too. Only that page's dates move. A page that was not touched keeps its old date. A recent date means someone re-read the page.

If you would rather not be listed

Tell us and we will remove your venue's page. We will not ask you to pay to be listed, and we will not ask you to pay to be removed.

How do I report an error?

Through the corrections page
The corrections page explains what evidence helps with each kind of error; there is no promised response deadline.
