Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Vermont Wedding Venue Finder, published by AIXIS LLC. The site is an independent reference. Confirm venue availability and contractual terms directly with the provider. Calculators return arithmetic under their stated assumptions, and planning information does not replace the relevant issuing authority or qualified professional advice.

  • This is an independent reference, not a booking service or a professional adviser.
  • Venue facts are attributed to the venue’s own publication or a named listing source. Check the citation’s scope and confirm current terms directly with the venue.
  • The pages on Vermont marriage law summarize state guidance and are not legal advice.
  • Nothing here is paid for, and no venue or vendor is endorsed.

What this site is

It publishes information about wedding venues in Vermont and about Vermont wedding planning.

Accuracy, and its limits

Information about a venue is taken from the cited public source. Confirm the current proposal against that reference.

Reference content and calculators are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. No venue choice, booking result or financial outcome is guaranteed. Links lead to independent providers, whose content, privacy practices and contractual terms are their responsibility.

We cannot warrant that a provider’s website was accurate or has remained unchanged. Confirm prices, capacities, seasons, requirements and availability directly before relying on them.

No affiliation and no endorsement

The venues, vendors, businesses and organizations named on this site are named since they are relevant to the subject. Naming them is nominative reference and nothing more.

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or in partnership with any of them, and their names and marks remain their own property. No venue has paid for its inclusion, its position or its description, and no payment of any kind can change any of the three.

Equally, nothing here is an endorsement by us of any venue or vendor, and the absence of a business from this site is not a judgement about it.

Legal information

The pages describing the marriage license, officiants and alcohol service summarize guidance published by the Vermont Department of Health, the Vermont Secretary of State and the Vermont Division of Liquor Control, and link to it. They are a starting point, not legal advice, and they are not a substitute for the town clerk who will issue your license or for a licensed attorney.

Requirements and fees change. Confirm them with the issuing authority.

Calculators

The calculators apply published rates to numbers you enter. They do not estimate your costs, and their output is an arithmetic result instead of a quotation, a tax determination or financial advice. Tax rates change; the source and the date for each rate are shown on the tool's own page.

Our content

The original text, diagrams, structure, comparison tables and the compiled dataset on this site belong to AIXIS LLC. You are welcome to read it, print it, and quote a reasonable extract with attribution and a link.

You may not copy the dataset wholesale, republish the site or a substantial part of it, or use it to train a commercial model without permission. Quotations from a venue's own website remain that venue's words and are reproduced for reference.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site unlawfully, do not attempt to interfere with it, and do not use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIXIS LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or opportunity, arising out of your use of this site or your reliance on anything published on it, including any decision you make about a venue, a vendor, a date or a budget. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AIXIS LLC against claims arising from your misuse of this site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and the state and federal courts sitting in Vermont have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The current version is the one published on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

If you run a venue named here

If a record about your venue is wrong, or you would prefer not to be listed at all, tell us through the contact form. We will correct it or remove the page. There is no charge to be listed, to be corrected, or to be removed.
