Jeffersonville weddings: resort packages and barn planning
Jeffersonville offers cabin-resort weddings at Sterling Ridge and a barn celebration at The Barn at Smugglers’ Notch. Sterling Ridge’s three larger packages allow up to 150 wedding guests; the separate micro, mini and elopement offers have lower limits. The Barn includes certified-planner coordination in its venue fee.
Choose the Sterling Ridge package before the room block
The Ultimate package starts at $11,500 plus tax and gives a two-night block of 26 cabins and one additional home, with lodging for about 110. A 150-person wedding would therefore still need accommodation for about 40 elsewhere if everyone stays overnight.
The $1,900-plus-tax elopement is a two-person offer. Lodging is additional and a two-night stay is required for the couple; it is not a small version of an inclusive 150-person weekend.
The Barn’s planner has defined tasks
Its venue-details page includes the ceremony rehearsal, timeline work and packing wedding decorations for next-day collection. Decide which of those duties the venue coordinator covers before hiring another supplier for overlapping work.
Sterling Ridge's Ultimate wedding package and its property-wide lodging description use different counts. The package identifies a two-night block of 26 cabins and an additional home with lodging for about 110. Its wedding-guest limit is 150. If all 150 guests intend to stay overnight, that leaves about 40 people to accommodate elsewhere; the calculation assumes the stated lodging allocation is available to this event.
A smaller cabin wedding is a separate offer. The Mini package allows up to 15, while the elopement's base price covers the couple and excludes lodging. A two-night stay for the couple is still required. Compare the actual package and accommodation payment terms before treating the smaller headline price as an inclusive weekend quote.
The Barn at Smugglers' Notch includes coordination from a certified wedding planner in its venue fee. Its details describe rehearsal coordination and packing decorations for next-day collection. Ask how those tasks connect with the caterer's and other suppliers' responsibilities. That defined handoff is a more useful comparison with the cabin-resort arrangement than assuming both offers provide the same planning service.
