Jay Peak weddings: space fees and lodging
Town JayType Mountain & ski
Jay Peak’s wedding locations include the Clubhouse Barn, Foeger Ballroom, Haynes Room, Garden Valley Pond and summit setting. Published site fees range from $1,700 for the pond to $7,000 for Foeger Ballroom. The Clubhouse Barn’s June–September season is a location-specific condition, not a season for every resort room.

Adding Haynes changes the quoted space fee
At the published figures, an assumed Foeger Ballroom reception plus Haynes cocktail-hour rental totals $7,500: $7,000 plus $500. Haynes reception use is a different $2,500 line.
Ask whether the summit transfer is included in the named site price. The accommodation offer is a separate reservation term.
References
Jay Peak's ceremony setting is The Clubhouse Barn, which the resort's wedding page describes as a post-and-beam building on a knoll above the golf course, with wide side doors that open for an almost outdoor ceremony and valley views for photographs afterward.
The same page names the Elevation 4000 summit and Garden Valley Pond as backdrops for family photos, so a couple choosing Jay is choosing a mountain resort in summer dress, not a purpose-built wedding estate.
Jay Peak Resort: the setting, and what couples plan around
Lodging is the other half of the decision. The resort's lodging page says nearly all of its lodging is ski-in, ski-out and sits on or near the championship golf course. It lists Clubhouse Suites with one and two bedrooms overlooking the course. The wedding page adds discounted lodging and activity packages for guests, which is worth pricing against booking rooms separately.
Jay Peak's wedding page lists more sites than the barn. There is a ceremony site with a landscaped arbor overlooking a pond and the Green Mountains, a ride on Vermont's only aerial tram to the summit for photographs. The Haynes Room, a bright space attached to the Foeger Ballroom that is often rented in addition to the ballroom for the outdoor terrace, a cocktail hour or a ceremony location.
Combining The Haynes Room with the ballroom is the common pairing. Quotes for a Jay Peak wedding often add two rooms. Ask which combination your guest count needs and whether the tram is included or extra.
What Jay Peak Resort states
Jay Peak Resort: the individual spaces, as the venue lists them
Spaces at Jay Peak Resort, with the capacity and, where published, the fee the venue states for each.
Jay Peak Resort: what the published numbers add up to
Divide each published site fee by the room's stated capacity and the fee per seat at a full room runs from $11 in the Clubhouse Barn (180 seated for $1,900) to $28 in the Foeger Ballroom (250 for $7,000) and $43 in the Clubhouse Tent (140 for $6,000).
A room that is half full costs twice that per guest, so a hundred-guest wedding pays more per head in the Foeger Ballroom than in the Clubhouse Barn even though the ballroom is the larger space.
