A ceremony can fit while the dinner cannot
A hypothetical 100-person winter ceremony is below Mozart’s ceremony figure but exceeds its 80-person reception figure by 20. It therefore needs a different dinner arrangement.
The tent’s seasonal availability cannot be extended merely because the resort offers winter lodging. Request the actual room, meal format and weather arrangement for the date.

The Trapp Family Lodge offers two very different rooms for a wedding. The resort's wedding page describes a large hilltop Wedding Meadow with a panoramic view of the mountain ranges around Stowe, secluded from the Main Lodge, and it also offers its concert stage in the Nebraska Valley meadow as a ceremony site.

That gap between an outdoor ceremony space that can take a tent and an indoor reception room capped at 80 is the practical point. The resort's own range is 50 guests to 200. A wedding above about 80 guests is a tented reception, which puts weather planning and tent rental on your list before the date is set.
The lodge's wedding page adds figures beyond the Mozart Room. It sits on 2,600 acres overlooking the village of Stowe, its post-and-beam Mozart Room is available for up to 85 guests with a wood-burning fireplace, chandeliers and walls of windows. A seasonal wedding tent holds 100 to 250 guests and is up from mid-May through mid-October with full flooring, a kitchen tent and bathrooms.
The tent window is the useful requirement. A wedding above about 85 guests is a tent wedding, and it can only happen between mid-May and mid-October. A winter wedding is a Mozart Room wedding, capped at 85.

Counted from the dates it states, the tent season holds about 22 Saturdays a year, which is a seasonal limit to check for the intended ceremony and reception.
The Mozart Room, which the venue states at 80 for a reception and 120 for a ceremony, is the only one of the three spaces that works outside that season, so a winter or early-spring wedding here is a Mozart Room wedding of 80 or fewer at dinner.
